Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty Certification

This course will be offered in conjunction with our 2014 Florida Keys Dive Trip and will be conducted over the first two day of diving.

The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course is a two-part (Level One and Level Two) introduction to digital underwater photography centered around today's point-and-shoot digital cameras.  The course helps student divers develop the knowledge, skills, and practical techniques necessary to obtain excellent photographs with a digital camera, even on their first photo dive.  This course is ideal for certified divers who want to learn the basics of digital underwater photography.

Information contained in your Seatasea PADI digital underwater program includes:

Part One

  • what equipment is needed to take great underwater photographs
  • how to prepare the underwater photo system
  • using basic underwater photo techniques while diving in an environmentally friendly manner

Part Two

  • what underwater photographers need to know about file formats, resolution settings, making images lighter or darker, getting good color, composing photos, downloading photographs on a computer, and adjusting images to look their best

Seatasea PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Speciality is conducted in conjunction with a scheduled dive trip.   Course fee includes course materials, instruction, and certification.  Included: PADI Underwater Digital Photography manual, PADI white balance slate, and certification fees.
