Discover Scuba Diving..a chance to give it a try!

Seatasea Watersports is pleased to offer a very exciting program to let you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Professional in a pool!  During your adventure, you'll even master some basic concepts and scuba skills.  This course is about 2 hours long and is taught through local aquatic centers or participating schools in Eastern Iowa such as Tipton Aquatic Center and the Metro Cedar Rapids YMCA's.

What do I need to start?

• Minimum age: 10
• A completed and signed - Seatasea Discover Scuba Registration Form
• A swim suit and a towel!
• A want to have "FUN"

What will I do?

When you participate in our Discover Scuba Diving program, you'll discover the excitement, adventure, freedom and serenity that only a diver knows.  First your will spend some time learning about the equipment that we use for Scuba Diving.  Next you till "gear-up" in the water and your Seatasea diving professional will teach you a series of skills that you would actually learn during our actual diver certification course.  After that, you get to dive in the pool under the guidence of our professional members.
