The second most asked question we get at Seatasea is do we put together group trips!  (the first is "where do you dive around here?")  Well folks...yes we do group trips.  We've worked really hard to research and plan some exciting trips for the year.  Most trips are lead by one of our experienced staff members and all the details are taken care of by Seatasea.  You just relax and dive!  For non-divers...worries!  We recognize that diving is not for everyone, so each destination has plenty of stuff for a non-diver to do.

Below is our list of destinations along with some website links for more information.  Each trip has a limited number of spots available.  When they are full they are full.  All accommodations are based on at least a double occupancy.  A single?  No problem, just register and we do everything we can to hook you up with a roommate.

GENERAL TRAVEL INFORMATION

REGISTRATION:  - you can register on-line, on the phone or in person.  We require a deposit per person for registration.  (this deposit is non-refundable if we are unable to fill the space!) The balance will be invoiced and due 90 days prior to the departure date or when indicated on the trip information.  IMPORTANT...our trips normally always fill up.  Sometimes very fast.  (This is a subtle hint you may want to lock and load your place as soon as you can!)

AIRFARE:  On some of our trips they do not include group air reservations.  With airfare today, group travel rates may not be as competitive with individual travel rates on many destinations and it makes more sense for us to take care of the land package and you to find an airfare that you are comfortable with.  If we do include air travel, this rate has been locked in way in advance however the tickets are not actually issued until 30 days prior to the trip.  Airfare that is not ticketed is subject to change due to airline imposed fuel surcharges or changes in air tax.   Once we issue a ticket, it is your ticket.  You own it.  If you do not choose to use our airfare feel free to book your own.

REFUNDS:  Your deposit is not refundable if we are unable to fill your space.  Also, once we have collected full payment and are past our utilization date with the resort and/or airlines (normally 90 days prior to the trip) your money is not refundable either in full or in part if you cannot go on the trip or or cannot participate in a paid for activity. (for example if you hurt your self and cannot dive you will not get a refund for the diving portion) Any refunds are totally up to the descretion of the resort or the dive center on the location.  By booking a trip with us you understand and accept this.  We strongly suggest travel insurance if you are concerned about this.

CHICAGO ' OHARE DEPARTURES: Much of the time, for the best airfare rates our trips depart from Chicago O'Hare due to available service and a much lower cost.  Normally this requires night stay on the departure portion of the trip to catch your early morning flight.  We do not make the reservations for this.  However there are a variety of hotels near Chicago O'Hare that offer park and fly packages where you can stay the night and park your car for the week.  These have typically cost in the $115 - $130 range.  One of the favorites of a lot of our travelers is the Sheraton 4 Points O'Hare  at this writing, their rate for a night stay, transportation to and from the airport and parking for up to 10 days is $115 (not including tax)

PASSPORTS:  You MUST have a passport for travel outside of the US.  This includes Mexico and Canada.  For information concerning click here for information concerning passports.  Most countries require that your passport does not expire within 6 months of your arrival date into that country.   It is your responsiblity to make sure that you meet the passport requirements of the country that you are traveling too.  Please remember that if your passport is expired, and you cannot go on the trip you are not eligible for a refund on the trip.  This is totally up to the descretion of the resort, dive center and airline.

• Any marine park fees (if applicable) for diving.  
• A countries departure tax (if applicable)  
• Equipment Rental
• Meals (unless specified)
• Beverages (unless specified)
• Travel Insurance - Optional travel insurance is available through Divers Alert Network.  
• Dive Accident Insurance - This is available through Divers Alert Network
