- Cedar Rapids Power Squadron - The Cedar Rapids Squadron of the US Power Squadrons.  A non profit, educational organization dedicated to making boating safer and more enjoyable by teaching classes in seamanship, navigation and related subjects.

- Tanager Place - is a private non-profit organization, located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa which provides services to children and families challenged by social and psychological needs.  (we help these folks out with snorkeling lessons at their summer camp!)

- Indian Creek Nature Center - is a private, non-profit nature center providing environmental education for all ages. The 210 acres with four miles of trails provide woodlands, prairies, wetlands and riparian forests for a unique outdoor classroom. The Nature Center staff and volunteers provide leadership for a variety of learning experiences.
