Seatasea's Open Water Certification Dives (Part 2)

Seatasea's Open Water Diver Certification dives are conducted at least once a month during the months of May thru the end of  September.  These are conducted at Haigh Quarry - Kankakee, IL.  or Wazee Lake in Black River Falls, WI.   Haigh is a privately owned diving oasis!  Wazee is a lake and park. Clear water and lots of stuff to see and do!

• 4 dives are required  (we do 2 Saturday afternoon and 2 Sunday morning) 

• Course fee is $195+ Sales Tax

• Course fee includes all rental equipment, air, instruction and certification costs. Course fees do not include Haigh entry fees of $20 per diver per day or Wazee entry fees of $10 per day and Wazee also has transportation, hotel and meals.

• Once completed you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver.

• From our calendar, once you have selected your course dates, contact us to register.  You can also register on-line at www.seataseastuff.com 

• Haigh Quarry Liabilty Release - You will be required to complete a liability release for Haigh Quarry and for Wazee Lake.   It is faster to register if you already have this release completed for Haigh.  You can download the release here in a .pdf (adobe reader required) or get one from Seatasea.

SCHEDULE

• Our staff leaves Seatasea at 8am sharp on the day of the dives to drive to the dive destination. For Haigh Quarry Certifications we meet at the upper parking lot at Haigh at 1pm.  For Wazee we meet at the far side boat ramp (as far as you can drive around the lake at 1pm)

• DIVE Gear:  You will need to pick up your gear at Seatasea prior to the dives and bring it with you.   You can check out your gear prior to the departure on Monday through Friday or if you want to pick it up on the Saturday and follow our staff up, please be at the store by 7am. 

• Lodging Saturday Night.  We have a group rooms pre-reserved at a local motel - Holiday Inn Express.  The rooms are $99 + Tax. (as of 02/10)  For Wazee we have rooms reserved at the Days Inn for $80+ tax.   If you require a room, please let us know and we will put you down for one of ours...you can also share with someone else if you are a single.  Please let us know.  These are limited and available at a first-come-first-serve basis.  Otherwise please feel free to make reservations at any of the area's many hotels or there is also a lot of camping available at the park and the surrounding area. 

• Please let us know you intentions concerning equipment pick-up etc, and if you are willing to set up a carpool.  If you want to carpool, meet at Seatasea at by 7:30 am.

• Otherwise...just meet us at 1pm at the upper parking lot at Haigh Quarry or Wazee.

• We usually finish the dives by 12 noon on the Sunday...and your a Certified Scuba Diver!
