Seatasea DAN Courses

DAN - the Divers Alert Network is a non-profit organization, which exists to provide expert information and advice consistent with with the current medical literature  for the benefit of the diving public.  DAN's historical and primary function is to provide emergency medical advice and assistance for underwater diving injuries, and to work to prevent injuries and promote diving safety.

OXYGEN FIRST AID FOR SCUBA DIVING INJURIES - represents entry-level training to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public to better recognize possible dive-related injuries and to provide emergency oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency medical services (EMS) and/or arranging evacuation to the nearest available medical facility. There is no age limit and prior CPR Certification (ie: PADI Medic First Aid) is recommended.  Course Fee is $35 and includes all course materials, instruction and certification.   Completion of his course also qualifies you  to earn the PADI Distinctive Specialty Rating for Oxygen Administration and is applicable towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver Rating.  PADI Certification Fee is an additional $20.00   OUR NEXT CLASS IS

FIRST AID FOR HAZARDOUS MARINE LIFE INJURIES - represents entry-level training designed to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public to identify hazardous marine life, to recognize possible injuries caused by hazardous marine life, to provide first aid for hazardous marine life injuries and to avoid hazardous marine life injuries.  The is no age limit. Course Fee is $35 and includes all course materials, instruction and certification.  OUR NEXT CLASS IS

OXYGEN FIRST AID FOR AQUATIC EMERGENCIES - represents training designed to educate the public to recognize possible aquatic related injuries and to provide emergency oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency medical services (EMS) and/or arranging for evacuation to the nearest medical facility.  No age limit and CPR Certification is required. Course Fee is $60 and includes all course materials, instruction and certification.       OUR NEXT CLASS IS
